Does Doug’s Last Wish Contain MSG?

Are you kidding? That’s SO 1972!  Not a chance. I don’t even know where to get MSG.  I’m a human like you and I remember my parents saying that “Chinese food places use MSG to make stuff taste better.” But that’s as much as you’ll ever hear about MSG from us.  Nope.  A few simple ingredients blended to perfection is what we’re about.

Will you add my email address to your mailing list automatically just because I order something from you?

The default is that the boxes are CHECKED to add you to our newsletter and customer lists. Uncheck the boxes if you’d like to skip future communication.  No harm no foul.  I am a huge fan of encouraging behavior with excellent rewards!  Stay on our list and you’ll get cool stuff.  There will ALWAYS be an unsubscribe link on every email we send through our lists (not via the store but those are order related.)  We used MailChimp.com (and so should you) and we respect all privacy rules and expectations that we’d have if we signed up for something online.

Why is your shipping set as a fixed rate?

We use the USPS to get shipping as low as humanly possible.  If you step up and buy multiple 32oz bottles...we’ll probably ship via FEDEX or UPS.  To avoid going crazy keeping up with those guys’ rates and confusing you, we went with a simple formula.  

How will I receive my spices? What kind of container are they in?

We use plastic bottle with a shrink wrap seal and shaker top.  If you need bulk quantities, email me and we’ll figure that out ;) Until then, our containers range from 5.5 oz (your typical normal sized spice bottle) to 32oz (your large quantity spice bottle say from Costco or Sam’s Club) with a couple in between.  

What online shopping platform do you use?

We use Big Commerce and it’s awesome.  If you have suggestions however, let us know.  Payments are processed through paypal and google checkout so those methods are extremely secure and protected.

What is your privacy policy?

DLWUSS does not sell, rent, or share any of your personal information to any third party. Your infomation is used for the singular purpose of completing your purchase, contacting you regarding your purchase, or occasionally marketing to you if you’ve stayed on our lists.

How long do spices last?

You probably won’t have DLWUSS in your spice cabinet long enough to test shelf life.  Once you try it on chicken, vegetables, eggs, etc., this will become your “salt and pepper” on the table.  Better stock up.  However, unless you keep it outside or live in an excessively humid area, I’d suggest that you have at least a year of life with this bad boy.

What is your store address?

We are 100% sold online and through partnerships with amazing Grass Fed Beef and Natural Meat producers.

Do you sell by weight or volume?

We only sell by weight.  I use a cool digital scale to measure and we’re always at or over what you’re promised in the online store.  We think giving a little extra makes people happy.  

Can I buy bulk quantities of DLW at wholesale prices?

I’d like to sell you as many 32oz containers as you need, but if you’d like 5 gallon food service buckets full, I’m a business person so bring it on.  Email me please.

Is DLW great on chicken, vegetables, or my finger?

100%.  I promise eventually you’ll use this stuff on everything.  My daughter still asks for a sprinkle on her finger when she sees the bottle.  The kids will love it :)
